The Georgian looked almost taken back at her remark, feeling his cheeks flush ever so slightly. "I-It wasn't that bad.. was it?" For a moment, the brunette fretted, having decided on this pick-up line due to the materialism his daughter, Atlanta, quite often showed-- something he mentally pegged as a female quality.
He paused thoughtfully, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yew know.. I don't think the girl fer me would be materialistic," the state offered with a sheepish smile. "But, even if she was, I'd cater to her needs like the princess she was." A blush blossomed on Andrew's face before it burned across his ears and faded.
An appreciative smile graced the southern man's face. "Aww, yer too good tuh me, hun. Meybbe there's someone out there, meybbe not." His broad shoulders lifted in a strong, "If not, ol' Miss Virginia and ah will still have tea together, Bama and ah will still fight, and the sun will keep on shinin'."
